Podcasts run on community; a group of people who genuinely care about what you’ve got to say. Ours is a room where you can bring them in.

Live recordings usually mean three separate problems. You book a venue that’s never recorded a podcast. You hire a crew who’ve never seen your show. Then you spend the following week sorting out whatever came back.

Our answer is a 48-seat theatre down the corridor from the podcast studios, built to the same spec with the same cameras, same sound, same people who record you every week. They already know how your show works, so nobody’s learning it in front of an audience.

It streams live too, which means the part of your audience that isn’t in London is still in the room in the way that matters. Questions can come in from the floor or from people watching remotely, and you can take a proper Q&A at the end. What comes off the desk on the night is close to finished.

And it isn’t a queue outside and straight back out again. There’s a bar and a garden, and people tend to stay in both — which is usually the point of the whole exercise. Most shows doing this aren’t filling the Albert Hall. They’ve got a few hundred people who really care, scattered wherever they happen to live, and this is where some of them finally get to meet each other.
